I live here in hill country, my heart is broken for so many. It came out of nowhere and the devastation is real. If you can say a prayer, donate, or just be there for someone that is doing something. While Texas is HUGE land wise, these lands are filled with families, homes, and animals, there is a mindset of we are here to help you. Religious services will go on, neighbors will check on one another, some evacuations are still in place and a bit of good news is we might see the sun tomorrow. Everyone just be kind.

I visited your beautiful area last year to see the eclipse. It breaks my heart to think of the troubles that have befallen you all.

Those from Team R trying to make hay of this incident for their kook theories about 'Weather Modification' also deserve to be called out for their own black souls.

Do we really need our own version of an AOC in the person of MTG? I think not.

We live in the Hill Country, along the Guadalupe River. We are, however, high up above it, where we don't suffer the floods. Water damage occurs, but not like others are suffering.

Even with damage occurring right here, folks geared up and headed for Kerrville, Comfort, and other upriver locations to help. It's what Texans do.

I hope the ghouls out there trying to make political hay out of this receive karma thrice-fold. Nay, six-fold.

Those who revel in tragedy will suffer twice as bad when it strikes them.

Pray for the Hill Country victims. And all who suffer and die due to weather related incidents.

I'm here in the HC as a visitor and people are definitely coming together. Headed down to Center Point today to help with some cleanup, the least I can do for such nice people.

Also, you can donate at:

https://www.communityfoundation.net/

Also, on the weather modification comment, how had i never even heard about this until the kooks started flooding X with their nuttery post-flooding? Makes me want to figure out how to filter phrases on my feed. 🙄

Once I have prayed for the lost, and the grieving, that they may be granted peace....

I pray for Justice. Heavenly Father, for myself, however, I seek mercy.

I'm going to have to disagree with you. The face isn't the best place. You're likely to hurt your hand. Also, the face is too visible and they can milk it for sympathy.
