Details are coming out regarding the terror attack on a peaceful event in Boulder, Colorado.
The event was horrific in itself, but it is especially so because the critter used fire — allegedly an improvised flamethrower and/or Molotov cocktails — to set innocent people alight.
Being burned alive is a nightmare to most people, and the mind that selects this course of action against innocents is unwell.
One of the responsibilities of an adult is when a dog — or other animal — contracts rabies and becomes a danger, it is our obligation to do the needful and kill the animal. As kindly as possible, but above all, that danger must be ended.
While a human being is not an animal, the induced hell of setting other people aflame is no different than the hell of condemning innocent people to death by rabies.
As adults it is imperative upon us to both end the threat … and to bring peace to that diseased, disordered, ailing mind.
Get quality firearms training, people, and carry your gun.
Don’t spend the rest of your life reliving the helpless feeling of standing there listening to the crackle of flames and the screams; smelling accelerant and flesh combust in your nightmares; and don’t settle for a lifetime of waking up snarling in the middle of the night as ghosts whisper to you from the dark corners of the room, asking why you didn’t do something … anything.
Taking a life is a terrible thing. Sometimes not taking a life is far, far worse.

As usual, the attack happened in a Victim Disarmament Zone.
I am not emotionally, or psychologically prepared to carry a gun. Everything you say is true. Everything, but I know the power of a gun, and I just don’t have it in me to pull the trigger.
What can I do? Help when needed, do something to help the victim. Would I lay down my life for them, yes, my husband, friends and animals yes.
That’s what I can do. Much love to you all.
