Love me a good “Irish Car Bomb.” If the old band gets back together old school style, this could make the “troubles” look like playskool for the stupid.

Ah, to be in a bar in the Colony about now.

"They won't."

True and valid.

Trouble is that the Irish Republic is no better.

If anything, currently worse.

There's a picture that was posted recently by the Ulsterman group (Constables for those old enough to remember the Troubles) with two masked lads walking side by side, one carrying the Ulsterman flag the other carrying SINN FEIN!

I really do not have a reasonable metaphor for what this means because the metaphor IS 'when the Ulsterman and SINN BLOODY FEIN will walk side by side... The world has either come to an end or someone's is about to.'

Someone's is about to.

"Someone's is about to."

Truth, I'm afraid.

They have it coming.

Brian Lee Gnad's avatar

Well, they did honestly earn it.

John Van Stry's avatar

We can only hope. Because if they do, maybe a lot of other people will wake up and follow in their footsteps.

Clair Kiernan's avatar

I'm cheering them in because I DON'T want it to happen here. If the Irish get froggy enough then migrants will start to think about how many Americans have guns and will go *home*.

John Van Stry's avatar

I want it to happen here. I want it to happen here very very very much. Because those people aren't going to leave unless they realize that they will die if they do not. And maybe not even then.

Clair Kiernan's avatar

😬😬😬😬 I really want you to be wrong. I wish I could be sure that it was so.

John,

I love you like a brother, BUT NO. Because if the dance starts here, it won't be that clear cut. Some of us tan dark enough and have an accent. Some of our kids are "racially indistinct" enough to be taken both for Jews and MEXICAN depending on who the posse hates the most. (Fortunately his wife packs. Well, both DILs do.)

In fact, a lot of us on this side can get swept up if the fury comes here.

Let's not.

John Van Stry's avatar

I understand that when it comes here (it's coming, history is clear on that, the only question is: Who will start it? and When?) we'll lose at least a third of our population, and I know I'll be in that third.

I'd just rather not see all the northern Europeans (aka the 'white race' as they like to say) wiped out. Though I suspect a couple hundred years from now when everything is failing they'll be telling stories of the evil white devils who cursed them all to live in poverty and dirt - which is why they all had to be killed of course.

I've just studied to much history and too many conflicts to believe anything else at this point. We are an evolutionary dead end, because we will not stand up to defend ourselves.

Randy's avatar

To be blunt, I couldn't care less about "Northern Europeans", the ones that gave us the French Revolution and Terror, Marxism, Naziism etc.

I'm interested in preserving the culture of the American Constitutional Republic, which is not tied to skin color or eye configuration etc.

If the Euros want to get smart and civilize, fine. Otherwise stay out of the line of fire if you know what's good for you.

Jay Maynard's avatar

The problem is that will blow up into a full-on civil war. We're already on a knife edge there, and once widespread violence like that starts, there will be no stopping it.

We don't *want* a civil war. We may well get one anyway, but there's no reason to provoke it any more than it already is.

John Van Stry's avatar

The sooner it starts, the more likely we have a chance of winning it.

The democrats have imported an incredibly large population of people who hate the US and hate the USA's Culture. These people are stupid, 80 IQ and lower. So they resent us as well, because we're smarter.

History has shown that every single time a immigrant population, that's okay with violence, has been imported in large numbers, that they rise up and slaughter the people who let them in.

Every Single Time.

Now it's our turn in the barrel.

Randy's avatar

"The sooner it starts, the more likely we have a chance of winning it."

Said the proponents of every "Short, Victorious War" ever.

GWB's avatar

I don't want it.

But I know we need it.

Because as long as there are no grievous consequences for those destroying Christian Civilization, they will continue. Some minor consequences might get them to back off for a bit, but they will come back as soon as we relax.

I'd rather it not come. But I'd even more rather not have civilization here collapse around my grandchildren's heads.

Montana has a…large, per capita, Irish diaspora. Large almost as Appalachia to the Scots, and *per capita* LARGER than Boston AND New York City, combined.

There is a bar, in Butte, Montana. It is well known for its connections (in every possible sense) to the Righteous Cause of the Old Country, going back to our first territorial governor being an ACTUAL Fenian Rebel (Thomas Francis Meagher of the 69th. Yeah, THAT one).

Above the bar, there is a lamp. This lamp is colored green, for obvious reasons.

When that lamp is lit, it means the Old Country (Catholic, Republican, FREE Ireland) is asking, through channels, for help. Of monetary, political, and military aid. It is always answered. All the way to the signing of the accords in the Nineties.

It was lit, yesterday.

For Protestant. Ulstermen.

Clair Kiernan's avatar

Wow.

I have seen a lot of comments on X, from republic of Ireland, claiming that no Irish were involved because it's in Ulster. As if there are no Catholics in Ulster. So much gaslighting from the leftists!

Oh, I'm old enough to remember the Troubles. It was on the world news every night of my growing up years and then some. This mess is just the tip of the old iceberg for what is coming, and rightfully so, to all the places in the world that don't deal with things as they should be doing. Loads of people's worlds are coming to an end and right quick. When it blows up, the Troubles will be as nothing compared to what is coming. The Troubles were just a "if you screw us over, this is what can and will happen." This is going to end up more of a "Well, we TRIED to tell you and you didn't listen too well. You forgot the lesson learned before...."

reltney mcfee's avatar

"Nice knees ya got there, mate. Sure be a shame if something happened to them!"

Said no one, ever, anywhere in Northern Ireland. I think.

Saul Jacka's avatar

Ian, you are so right!

You might add that the reason Northern Irish trauma surgeons were the most sought after around much of the world for a long time was their expertise in dealing with gunshot wounds (including kneecapping) and IED injuries.

It is probably no coincidence that Surgeon-Captain Rick Jolly who ran the famous Red and Green Life Machine (only three of the 580 British soldiers and marines wounded in action were to die of their wounds and none while under the care of Jolly) during the Falklands war, spent time as Medical Officer to 42 Commando RM in Belfast

Saul Jacka's avatar

Of course, as a loyal citizen of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, when I say "you are so right" I do not in any way mean to imply that I agree with your judgement about the culpability of the local or national authorities but merely wish to agree with the judgement that things are likely to get very violent in Northern Ireland in the near future.

LibraryGryffon's avatar

Don't forget the drunk drivers! They were also a major impetus to the skill and technique development of ortho and neuro surgery in Ireland, both North and South.

I went to uni in Dublin with the son of one of the northern surgeons who helped develop the use of titanium plates. Surgical steel plates for skull injuries due to exploding pillar boxes and the like in children require further surgeries to replace them as the kids grow.Titanium does not.

There are quite a number of US politicians/police/prosecutors etc... that should start paying attention for signs of this sort of sentiment showing up here, But, just as you said about the powers that be in Ireland, ours over here are incapable of anything even CLOSE to that level of cognizance of the possible effects of their actions.

You could not be more correct than stated old boy. It is not confined to the UK, I venture to say the entire anglosphere (ex Brit colonized, not occupied) are in various stages of reaching the "had enough of this cr*p" tipping point. Even Canada and OZ are on a slow fuze. Sadly those that think themselves our betters are too obtuse to see the obvious.

Oren Truitt's avatar

You are so very correct!!!

Here is the comment I made on FB.

“They must be serious to be throwing petrol bombs given the record prices for petrol.

All of those lovely ‘toys’ hidden away after the cessation of THE TROUBLES will be coming out soon as the gloves come off and the Irish take action to rid Ireland of the flood of Middle Eastern and African migrants who have infested Northern Ireland. How long until the movement spreads across Blighty and the Republic of Ireland? The PEOPLE of Ireland and Britain have been silenced for too long. In the words of an Irish author from over a century ago, “Too long a silence can make of the heart a stone”.

The politicians and police have been protecting the immigrants (foreign invaders) for far too long, treating the Peoples of Britain 🇬🇧 and Ireland 🇮🇪 as Second Class. Anytime a ‘white’ person complained about a criminal act by a ‘brown’ person, they were met with “you are a bigot, you are being Islamophobic, you are prejudiced”.

The police have been protecting the rape gangs and gangs of Muslim thugs attacking people in the streets, while they come down hard on traditional Anglo Saxon Brits who are trying to go about their lives without being attacked or robbed. Firearms have been banned for decades, now it is a crime to carry a knife in public or ANYTHING that you are carrying with the intention of using it as a weapon for defense. Carrying a walking stick? Don’t hold it in a threatening manner or you will be arrested. Likewise your umbrella. Ladies, don’t be caught with a box of ground pepper in your handbag, you’re carrying a weapon. I wonder what the police would say about a coin purse full of 1 and 2 pound coins? That could be considered a cosh.

I see a sudden rise in the popularity of neighborhood cricket and hurling teams and athletic societies. If you are on your way to the local green or practice ground and have your equipment bag with you, are the local coppers going to arrest you for having your cricket bat 🏏?

Time will tell but frankly, the pendulum has swung so radically far in favor of the foreigners for so long that the pressure of the silent majority being oppressed has become stronger than threat of being labeled with a nasty name or even being arrested can hold it back. A match has been struck in Belfast and It’s about time for THE PEOPLE to get up off of their backsides and take matters into their own hands.

God Save Ireland 🇮🇪. God Save England 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿.

I think the Scots and Welsh will probably do a good job of taking care of things in their own countries just fine.“

Couple things:

1) Have you listened to the audio from the initial attack? Just sheer... I don't even know how to describe that level of public demoralization. They can see the attacker just whanging away at the vic with a knife, blood everywhere, and when the guy goes in with the hurley stick they're all relieved... and then the cops show up and they're all 'OMG it's the cops, stop hitting that guy with a stick you'll get in trouble". And he does. He stops. Attack continues. These people are more afraid of their own police than they are of murderous armed crazies. The base-level public perception is: the cops are the biggest threat to normal people, and the cops are only there to protect criminal migrants who are doing violence against them.

2) Across social media platforms (to be fair I have not checked *all* of them), I have seen a whopping TWO posts claiming to be from non-media people in Belfast... since 10pm Belfast time last night. 20 hours without a peep from normies about the situation in a metro area of 650k. That looks like a scary level of censorship. Anybody know anything about that? Why isn't anyone talking about it? Am I just using the wrong search terms? There are tons of people with useless opinions *about* it and nobody with news since last night. The whole city could have fallen into a hole and you wouldn't know.

Censorship? After an incident like this, radio silence is serious cause for concern. Action may take place soon.

Yarrow's avatar
1dEdited

No doubt, but I've been poking at it for hours, and I think the radio silence is happening on the government/telecomm level. I'm as skeptical of the Total Surveillance State as anybody, and I'd like to think the, uh... activists (?) have OpSec that is *just that good* (it'd mean the rest of us have a chance against Skynet) but realistically... no amount of opsec is going to keep regular neighborhood resident gawkers from posting disaster pics for likes on X. That's got to be censorship. At this point I can't even tell if they have internet in Belfast right now.

Resonant Media Arts's avatar

Yes, but will the revolution be televised or censored? Shall we expect a V for Vendetta grade spectacle soon or lying silence?

Tom from WNY's avatar

It may be hard for even mainstream media to ignore.

Resonant Media Arts's avatar

I would pray so, but... never underestimate the power of entrenched, malicious and all encompassing stupidity. Only the highest value recipients would probably trigger any media coverage. After all look how well what's already happening is being covered in the mockingbird media.
