Being A Gentleman Of A Certain Vintage means that gains come on slowly, but losses are quick, fast, and in a hurry.
That’s a lift call a “rack-pull” which is sort of like a dead-lift with training wheels. About a year ago I weighed 195, and was rack-pulling 365 pounds, on the way to 405. Life Happened, and a year later I’m at 185 pounds, and the weight on the bar in the video is 310, finally. I had gotten all the way down to 225, and months later I’ve finally broken that 300 pound line. Again.
Sigh.
Ah, well. “You don’t have to like it, you just have to do it.” Hopefully I’ll be back at 365 pounds before summer hits.

Persistence, endurance, and in the end you reach the goal, only to look up and see there's another, further ahead. We don't stop. We just choose whether we make progress.
I am like Jim Curtis, makes my back hurt just watching that. Keep working young one.
